Privacy Policy

All the online transactions are made by SSL server (Security Sockets Layer) to secure your personal information such as credit card numbers. After you confirm your order, you are in secure mode and the billing and shipping information will be collected. You will receive your Chinese art consulting information via email, and art appraisal report either as an email attachment or a hard copy via USPS based on the nature of your order.

Your privacy is important to us. We will never share your personal information with or disclose any information in the art appraisal report to a third party without your prior written permission.

POSSESSION of the appraisal report we compiled for your art object or any part of it does not carry with it the right of publication.

No part of the report may be used or reproduced in any form or by any means, or stored in a database or retrieval system, without prior written permission of WEI YANG CHINESE ART.

The report may not be copied for any purpose by anyone but the named owner, client, or their representative(s), and then is restricted to the appraisal purpose and use stated. All rights reserved.

Important Notice

Wei Yang Chinese Art's estimates and property analysis are statemenets of opinion only and shall not be relied upon by you or any third party as a prediction or guarantee of the actual selling price. Our Chinese art specialist makes no representations or warranties with respect to the property, its authenticity, attribution, condition or otherwise. Furthermore WEI YANG CHINESE ART's fair market value estimates are intended solely for the use of the owner of the property and only for the purpose of considering whether to consign the proerty to a Chinese art agent/dealer or have the property auctioned in an auction house. It may not be used by the owner for any other purpose, or by any third party for any purpose whatsever, nor may it be published.

Quality, honesty and transparency are our most important values.  We NEVER mislead you, and we will never ask you to pay for services that are unnecessary for selling your art work. Our job is to provide you with objective advice: we are completely honest about the art you own and its likely performance in the current Chinese art market. The written reports we prepare are based on thorough research on the history, style, and artistic background of your art, as well as the recent performance of objects like it on the Chinese art market.

We are transparent in providing high-quality professional services at a minimum cost. Before we begin research, we state what you can expect in a written report, explain the way we figure costs, and ask for your approval. We insist that you understand the appraisal process before committing to it, and we are happy to answer any questions about the appraisal.  We are often able to extend a discount for appraisal of multiple objects of a similar style.
